While
listening to music and browsing through popular social network – twitter, I
came across some disturbing tweet from ‘schleb’
– Gayton McKenzie.
The
statement went like this: “The side-chick is sometimes more valued than the
main chick – from my new book”
Another
one went as far as: Any guy that calls you regularly after midnight, sees you
as nothing else than his personal prostitute – from my new book”.
Firstly,
women do not need a manual or a how-to-handle-a-man-situation guide when it
comes to their personal life. Some have lived long enough to know how to handle
their business the way they see fit, Mr Gayton.
As
much as you are willing to give them an easy access guide to how you operate, I
think you tend to forget that not every man is like you, and not every man
thinks that calling their girlfriend or potential partner at midnight qualifies
them to be a ‘lady of the night’. Oh, furthermore, not every guy has a
side-chick, Gayton. Other guys are committed to their lovers or families.
One
of the things in which make me irk is that this book is taken from a one-sided
perspective – your perspective and possibly Kenny’s and no one else’s. The
fallacies that will be provided in this book are not encouraging to young men
and women out there. Books like these shouldn’t be published unless plausible
research is done on these findings.
Findings?
I know, right? Blame my lame academic background, but I personally feel that a
book like this should definitely be a well thought out concept where research
is done and the findings are presented. Boring… I know!
To
give you a free idea, take this:
Well,
a book about your life in prison with your fellow ex-con Kenny would be an
interesting read. A tell-all in how you survived and what gave you the strength
and courage to survive and come out to be better men (well, almost) and start a
political party would be a not-so-great, but bearable read.

you’re looking for ideas to make money, please consult me next time. I’ll save
you from the humiliation!
